Sherbet has escaped to find some peace

Oh my dear friends from nearby and far far away!  I am so sorry that I have not written my story for a little while. I must tell you that  I have a very good reason. You see, I have escaped to the seaside to find some peace. You may wonder why I had to find some peace . Well, let me tell you that  I could not stay at Clover Cottage because the frogs in my pond have been croaking so loudly all night long that I have not been able to sleep very well. Every morning I had woken up with tired eyes because of my naughty, noisy frogs so I decided to come here to this beach as it is a very, very quiet place indeed and there is not a frog in sight. All I can see are crabs and all they do all day is run  into holes in the sand. You will be glad to know that I am catching up on my sleep and I  am collecting shells to add to my nature corner back at Clover Cottage. Love from your dear and loyal  friend, Sherbet Sheep with plenty of sleep ! x                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; .

Oh dear, Sherbet has odd looking ears.

Oh dear , what has happened to my ear.  The last time I looked,  both of my ears were sticking straight up to the sky.  I am a little bit worried because I have never seen my ear like this in the whole of my life . Maybe it was because it was very windy today.  Maybe the wind has blown my ear down.  Oh dear, Oh dear, Oh dear , what shall I do?     I know!   I will stop worrying about it because worrying does not change anything,  instead I will sit here,  close my eyes and imagine that both of my ears are sticking up the same way and when I open my eyes again I am sure I will be back to normal.  Please wish me luck as I am sure I look very silly indeed with one ear up and one ear down!   Love from your odd looking friend Sherbet Sheepx

Sherbet has a new friend

What fun !
I have found a new little friend who looks a little bit like me .
I think the only difference between us is that he has floppy downward facing ears and I  have upward facing ears.
Oh how blessed I am to  to be sitting in these
lovely purple flowers with my new friend.

Sherbet is in lavender heaven

Here I am at the garden centre today.  I just could not resist sitting right in the middle of this
wonderful lavender.   Oh what a heavenly perfume it has .   I just cannot stop sniffing it into my nose.
Ahh,  it is so relaxing,  the more I sniff it ,  the more I just want to fall  asleep right where I am .  The only problem is,  if I fall asleep in this garden centre,  someone may come along and try to buy me, thinking I am some kind of garden ornament.   The best thing I can do is to take some of this lavender  back to Clover Cottage and plant it there , then I will lay down in my very own garden where I feel safe and sniff it to my heart's content.   Love from Sherbetx

A naughty dog called Buddy

Ah, what a joy it is to be sitting here with these pinker than pink flowers. I only wish that I had a pink hat to match them, then my life would be complete !
Now,  I must tell you that I have heard from a very dear friend of mine that while I was away from Clover Cottage today, a very naughty, young dog called Buddy ran into my garden.  He is a black labrador and there is nothing he likes better than splashing around in water and being as naughty as he can be.
This is what happened next.   Buddy jumped into my lily pond and started to pull all of my beautiful lilies out.  He ran all around my garden at full speed, making a terrible mess, leaving chewed up lilies everywhere,  in the bushes , in the vegetable patch, in the flowerbeds,  just everywhere !
At one point he swam right down to the bottom of the pond with just his tail sticking out of the water. He was trying to pull a lily out that was stuck under a rock .  Oh my goodness what a very naughty dog he is .  Oh dear,  poor pond.   Oh dear,  poor lilies. I do hope they grow again very soon .  I will miss them .   Love from Sherbetx
